One eye sees, the other feels

Mikel GZ was born in 1996 in the north coast of Basque Country, grew up in the charismatic town Elorrio, to later on move to Bilbao at the age of 8. In 2015, he bought his first digital camera and created Everyday Eye.

Everyday Eye is a nod to routine, everyday life, the city, its streets and its everyday scenes. A constant search of a quiet, slow and eyes wide open journey through time. Everyday Eye seeks to find what has been, somewhere, someday.

Besides the photographic work, Mikel is releasing music under the monikers Patio Chum and M Steep. Together with few friends founded the creative collective {CURRENT_LIAISON}.

Based in Berlin.
